All adoption fees of these dogs are fee-waived in an effort to get them into homes. Our shelter continues to be at capacity, and we receive at least 30 new dogs, on average, every day. If KC Pet Project’s Animal Services Division finds animals exposed to the winter conditions, they may be subject to immediate seizure and impoundment of the pet to the shelter and prosecution of animal cruelty.
