My friend and I just bought the game and are planning on playing it tonight. I was wondering the difference between Apocalypse and Survivor modes. What mode do you play on and why? What would you suggest for new players learning the game in multiplayer?The most valuable resource you have in Zomboid is Time. Your character is constantly getting hungry. They are constantly getting thirsty. There's only so long until winter sets in. There's only so many supplies in your starting town. Water and Electricity will shut off eventually and then you're on the clock for the Generator too.You will find other Survivors to join you. They'll always be subpar compared to multiplayer, but they can still add a lot to the game. This is an extension of nolanritchie's Superb Survivors. I've optimized it to reduce the performance impact, and added some balance changes and fixes to the AI routines to behave better.
